What is Domestic Violence?
- Domestic Violence is the willful intimidation, rape, battery, assault, or other abuse from one intimate partner to another.
- Many states require that the perpetrator of the domestic violence be either a spouse or former spouse, persons residing together or that had resided together within the previous year, or those who share at least one child.
